I would highly recommend the teacher training course at yoga hub, all of the teachers are highly knowledgeable and each bring different aspects to the course which is great. Stu and Frank offer lots of support to everyone and always make the time to have a chat and offer guidance and encouragement when it is needed. The continued support which I have had since my training at yoga hub has finished has been really great and I know if I need it then words of advice will always be given. If you are looking to expand your knowledge of yoga or want to go into teaching then this is a really great course to begin your journey. The training I received has given me the confidence to go out and teach what I love and I am really happy that I chose yoga hub to do my 200 hours teacher training,
I really special studio. Lovely welcoming space, very skilled and thoughtful teachers. So glad I found it!
I organised a private class with Stu early November for 12 girls as part of a hen. Stu was fantastic to deal with before hand. He helped me curate the best class possible. The communication was quick and efficient. When we arrived Stu gave us such a warm welcome. He remembered it was for a hen and cracked a few jokes and made the bride special and had everyone enjoying themselves. The class was just the right amount of challenging and Stu asked beforehand how to tailor it best and was keen to fit our needs. It was a great way to clear the hangover from the night before. The facilities were clean, and nicely decorated. Could not recommend this place enough!!!
"Before I embarked on my teacher training, I had lots of concerns about not being ready. From the outset however, all of the teachers set me at ease and throughout the course gave an incredible level of support and guidance. The balance between their input and the need for me to take responsibility for my own learning and teaching style meant that by the end of the course, I felt confident in my ability to teach. There was so much more to the course than learning to teach yoga though - it was literally life changing for me and I got to spend many weekends with an amazing group of yogis and teachers."
My name Lee Burns and I was a student at the YogaHub for 3 years and loved every moment of it. All the staff are so friendly and the teacher's are amazing. I found my yoga really improving so the next step of my yoga journey was to become a yoga teacher. I was guided through the intense teacher training course by Banyan Tree school of yoga teacher training by Stuart and Frank. The course was great and I learned so much and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge to become a yoga teacher. I also met fellow yogis on the course who I still keep in touch with. I have now been teaching yoga for over 4 years now and would highly recommend Banyan Tree school of yoga to any budding yoga teacher. Thanks so much to all the teachers and guest teachers for helping me through my journey in becoming a Yoga teacher especially Stu and Frank.
Good classes, nice clean environment, friendly staff, fruit and cold flannels after classes!
I recently attended a yoga class at Yoga Hub Liverpool, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked into the studio, I felt a sense of calm and warmth. The atmosphere was welcoming, with soft lighting and a serene setup that immediately put me at ease.
Stu Alexander was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, guiding us through each pose with clear instructions and gentle encouragement. Whether you’re a beginner or have been practicing yoga for years, the class was designed to accommodate all levels, which I appreciated. The pace was just right, allowing time to fully engage with each pose and focus on my breath.
What really stood out to me was the sense of community in the class. Everyone was friendly and supportive, making it easy to feel comfortable and connected. The instructor made a point to ensure that everyone was in alignment and offered modifications where needed, which was perfect for my skill level.
By the end of the session, I felt both relaxed and rejuvenated. My mind was clearer, and my body felt more flexible and balanced. Yoga Hub Liverpool provided not just a workout, but a holistic experience that left me feeling uplifted and inspired.
Stu and his team they just amazing people and if you are into Yoga, I can only highly recommend Yoga Hub Liverpool studio
I trained with the Banyan Tree School of Yoga in 2016. Very thorough and professional delivery. Very experienced teachers. The knowledge and experience from the course provided me with a platform from which I could go out to teach. When I started the course, I was already an experienced and qualified teacher, but not in yoga. Doing something I was not fluent/confident with was a massive challenge - but I think I am the better for. The course gave me a new perspective on yoga and life acceptance. I currently teach adapted yoga and wellbeing to adults with disabilities and isolated older learners. My learners like the fact that I can explain why I adapt asanas for them - knowledge I gained from the course. Thank you.
I have been going to this place regularly for more than a month now and it is such a beautiful and peaceful place to learn and practise yoga. I love how Frank, Donna and Stu conducts the sessions with us.
Always had an excellent experience when attending the classes at the Yoga Hub. I went to my first class (Stu's Wednesday evening session) several years ago now and altogether I no longer live in Liverpool, I will absolutely book a class when I visit next. I felt encouraged, well taught and still practice regularly today due in part to my time at The Yoga Hub.
The class focuses on being present in the moment, rediscovering natural body movement, and releasing unnecessary effort.
Everything 10 out of 10
Warmth of the people who work and attend the classes...I lovely place to go to feel the stillness and feel calmed.
Yoga Hub is clean, very decorative and all staff are absolutely lovely! They are helpful, professional and very friendly and I appreciated how welcome I felt the first time I visited. I also feel all classes are well taught and make everyone feel brighter and energised.
Omg,where to start, these wonderful open welcoming none judgemental folks bring warmth to my heart EVERY TIME I am priveledged to partake in practice each occasion I get to go.
They are all simply the BEST. To say they have changed my life is no exaggeration, too many super special people abound here ,Stu&Sabrina of course but so so many more too attracted no doubt by the special spiritual giving energy they espouse, The delightful Dion, super Sarah ,Dedicated Sion,...
Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Good facilities.
First Hot yoga class for me last night and the first time visiting The Yoga Hub. Very friendly and helpful staff that showed me around and the teacher, Emma, gave an excellent class. Well recommended.
Not all yoga studios are created equal. Yoga hub is an especially beautiful and peaceful studio with excellent and experienced teachers. I learn something new from every class I attend which over time has and continues to enhance my practice and experience of yoga. Each class offers something different and for those just starting their practice or for those who have been practising for years. Highly recommend a visit to try out a class, you will feel the warm welcome.
Lovely studio - very welcoming. I wasn’t expecting such a calm / zen environment! Really enjoyed the class (relaxation yoga Friday lunchtime with Stu). Thanks so much - I’ll be back :).
Great classes, fab teachers and great atmosphere will be back !!
I attend the classes for three months, it is a great activity that helps the combination of mental health and physical fitness. Stu is a kind advisor and a complete "teacher". For international people, it is definitely easy to understand what is going on in the class and the facilities, as Stu gives the necessary information. Do not worry about feeling alone or foreigner! Keep in mind that wednesday classes are a bit harder than the early morning saturday classes. Highly recommended!
The only thing I think you could improve on, would be to have less people in the room, or have bigger rooms. I felt a little close together and squashed which meant I couldn't stretch fully without worrying I was going to boot someone!
Amazing place. I was really nervous having never done yoga at all but they made me feel so welcome I've never looked back. Three years later and I note go twice a week. Really chilled out. Beginners and experts attend each class so no issues if you're new. Highly recommended
I participated in the Banyan teacher training course of 2017. The course was excellent. Great teaching material, taught very well in a great location. Banyan delivered much more than I expected. I learned a great deal about yoga and how to prepare and deliver yoga classes. I also learned lots about safety, morality, philosophy and spirituality that transcends religion.
I'm now confidently teaching yoga, including a weekly class for older people with body damage (eg sciatica, hip replacement, lumbago). My yoga students are reporting really encouraging results in terms of reduced pain and improved mobility. Throughout the process, I also met some great people, who I think will be lifelong friends. Choosing to do this course is one of the best decisions I've ever made.
I haves loved the classes but I have found it awkward parking. The teacher last night was great and it was very enjoyable. I did feel that there was not enough space to do some of the positions.
When I was out drinking every weekend to the point where I blacked out, it has bad effects on you in every way, especially your mental health, I was depressed everyday with these deep dark thoughts in my mind, i was moving from family member to another because I kept arguing with them. Then one day I seen on YouTube yoga aligning to the source which was a documentary about yoga, I have never been interested in anything more in my life, so then I went to the Sunday class and when I came out a lightbulb hit, I felt like everything went away and I was healed, it has helped me to stay away from things that are not healthy for me, I have been at Yogahub for 6 months now trying to go to yoga everyday, now I will be starting my teacher training in February, I would recommend it to everyone.
Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Great facilities and approachable staff.
I visited here for the first time with my friend. I’d had a stressful week with exams so found this class and thought I would give it a try.It was straight forward and easy to book. The instructor is an absolute professional. He clearly knows exactly what he is doing. As it was my first time I couldn’t quite do all of the poses just yet, I felt good throughout the class and was supported without judgement. We both really enjoyed this class. I will definitely be back.
Class times excellent, reception staff lovely and helpful, instructors are amazing!!
Went for my first ever yoga experience tonight. Was absolutely brilliant and such a nice place to be.
Atmosphere and quality of teachers
I trained with Banyan Tree Yoga School three years ago and have taught yoga ever since. Within a few months of starting the course, I already felt confident enough to start teaching myself. The course allowed me to go deeper into my own practice, adapt my teaching for different abilities and develop my own teaching style. It was great to learn from several different teachers who specialised in physiology, pranayama and Kriyas. I have really fond memories of the weekend sessions and felt fully supported both during and after the course.
I have recently completed my 200hr yoga teacher training at the Yoga Hub with Stu & Frank, amongst other fabulous teachers. The Hub is a warm and welcoming environment where you are made to feel at home from the minute you kick off your shoes and step into the studio or relax in the lounge area.
Our group was and is a close collection of people who Stu & Frank brought together to commence our yoga teacher journey. The training was an invaluable journey and experience from start to finish. It encompassed the holistic approach to yoga history, branches, philosophy, anatomy & physiology, practical asana practice and the ethics, morals and values of not only being a yoga teacher but a person.
This journey has changed my life in every aspect and opened up a whole new way of life for me. But above all, I met an amazing group of people from all walks of life and through our training became a family.
Stu, Frank and the amazing other teachers were supportive, proactive in helping us drive forward when we felt stuck, lost, in a funk. They helped guide us along. The structure and content of the course were in depth and covered all aspects in a way in which was delivered with great humour, support and knowledge.
I would recommend anyone go and pop along for a class, or to go and do their training with these guys.
Namaste.
Yoga hub Liverpool is the most authentic hot yoga studio in Liverpool, and definitely my favourite. The studio is a beautiful calm space for deep practice. The teachers are all highly experienced being either Senior Yogis or movement professionals (e.g. teaching dance at LIPA). This is a studio for people who really want to improve their practice and the teachers are inspirational in this respect. They also train yoga teachers who sometimes join the open classes so, as a beginner, you get to hear some of the anatomy, science and philosophy while in class. This is is a great place for beginners as teachers give individual feedback. I have learnt far more here than any other studio.
Friendly staff/instructors, clean, great facilities, brilliant classes
Love this place😍 staff are welcoming, classes are brilliant whether you’re a beginner or an expert! Amazing workout for the body but also brilliant for wellbeing/mind relaxation!!
